It’s a sensation that should embrace us, wrap us in its arms, and make us feel at home. And so, it was only natural that we took this a step further, beyond the visual and the tactile, to an aroma, a luxury fragrance, that speaks directly to the heart of our brand.
The idea came from our relentless pursuit of experience. Royal Stranger has always been about more than just creating furniture; it’s about crafting spaces, atmospheres, and sensations. As I walked through our showroom, surrounded by our pieces, bold, elegant, and unmistakably alive, I realized that something else could tie all of this together: scent.

The power of smell is undeniable. Studies show that our most primitive sense is directly linked to the part of the brain responsible for memory and emotion. In fact, it’s the only one of our senses with a direct link to the brain’s emotional and memory centers. That’s why a scent can evoke both joy and nostalgia, or even sadness. So, we began a journey. We dove into a process that followed the same philosophy we apply to designing our furniture: a deep sensory immersion.
We studied scents and the emotions they awaken. Immersed in the stories our designs tell, we explored how different fragrances could bring those narratives to life. We asked ourselves: what do we want our clients and partners to feel when they step into a space with one of our pieces? How do we translate comfort, boldness, elegance, and adventure into a fragrance?
It was a delicate process. We tested, we experimented, and we waited. We allowed the synergy between ideas and feelings to emerge naturally, just as we do with our designs. And over time, after much reflection and care, we arrived at what we now call the Royal Essence, a fragrance as bold, unique, and complex as the pieces we create.

Now, this essence is present in our showroom. It’s part of our physical space. It gently fills the air where our pieces are displayed, and we’re proud to share that it can also be found in select partner showrooms, where our furniture and vision are celebrated.
